tuna tomato sauce:you have to try it!
super healthy, quick and easy to prepare!
light sauce that goes great with any type of pasta!
1 or 2 large cans of tuna (depending on how hearty you want your sauce)
olive oil (enough to lightly cover the bottom of your pan)
1 large can of diced tomatos
1/4 of a white onion finely chopped
fresh parsley/basil chopped
step 1:heat the pan
step 2: add olive oil
step 3: add chopped onion, cook for a couple of minutes
step 4: add only the liquid from the tuna cans and let reduce for a couple of minutes
step 5: add the canned diced tomatos
step 6: add basil/parsely
step 7: let reuce for 15-20 minutes
step 8: add tuna at very end, just to heat it up, since it is already cooked
step 9:serve over pasta
