Almond Milk

Ingredients:

1 Cup Raw Almonds
4 Cups Filtered Water
Water to cover almonds

Directions:

Place almonds in a bowl, cover with water and soak 4-6 hours.

Drain almonds well.

Add almonds and 4 cups filtered water into a blender. Blend until liquified.

Strain milk well (I use cheesecloth).

You can use the pulp again to make a lighter milk if you like.

*I sometimes will add a tablespoon of alcohol-free vanilla and the scrapings of a vanilla bean to make a vanilla almond milk.
