Beef-Rice Mexicali Skillet

Wonderful, quick one pot meal. We use it often!


1 lb ground beef
1 can of corn (regular or mexican)
2 8 oz cans of tomato sauce
3 cups white rice
1 1/2 cups water
salt, chili powder, pepper and garlic to taste


In skillet brown ground beef. Drain and add all other ingredients. Cover and let simmer on low for about 10 minutes. Until rice is done.

If you can it is great topped with cheese.
