Cheese, Bean and Raisin Spread

Delicious spread for sandwiches, toast, biscuits or jackets.


200g/7oz can of butter beans, drained
125g/4.5oz creamy light herb and garlic cheese
a squeeze of lemon juice
2 x 15ml spoons raisins
salt and freshly ground black pepper


1. Mash the butter beans to a paste.
2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and blend roughly.
3. Spread on your favourite bread or savoury biscuits.
