Chocolate Cake

Moist cake


3 cups flour.
2 cups brown sugar.
1/2 cup dairy free cocoa.
1 level tspn cream of tartar.
1/2 level tspn bicarbonate of soda.
2 cups of water.
1/4 cup of oil.
1 tbsn of vinegar.
1 tspn of vanilla essence.


Mix all dry ingredients together.
Make a well in centre.
Add liquid ingredients and mix until smooth.Spoon mixture into cake-tin.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Can be covered with your favourite topping,or cut in halve and spread with jam or fruit puree.
