Basic Garlic Roast Beef
This is a recipe that is really easy to just throw in and let cook.
Ingredients:
1 Roast
Some chopped garlic (I buy the pre-chopped garlic in olive oil to make it faster)
2 Tbs oil
1 Cup Beef Broth OR Bragg's Aminos OR water (Bragg's makes a salty roast which my hubbies likes)
Directions:
The garlic is good for those people with Candida problems... garlic is a good anti-fungal. Be careful with the Beef Broth, though.
Cut some slits in the top and bottom of the roast and shove some garlic into each slit.
For on the Stove:
Brown all sides of the roast in the oil. When browned, add the liquid and simmer until cooked through (about 2 hours or so).
OR for in the Oven:
Brown all sides of the roast in the oil. Place in oven-safe pan and cover with aluminum foil. Cook at 350 degrees until done (about 2 hours or so).
