Tricia's Citrus Salad for Two

6 large leaves of organic leaf lettuce (any kind)
1 large ripe pink grapefruit (organic if possible)
1 avocado, ripe, but firm (again, organic, if possible)
Wash and spin the lettuce and break into edible sizes on two salad plates.
Peel the grapefruit, split in half. For each plate, peel every segment in 1/2 of the grapefruit, pull into bit-size pieces and place on the lettuce.
Cut the avocado in half, peel, and cut each half into long strips for each plate. I try to arrange them in a design on top of the grapefruit.
