Molasses Cookies

2/3 cup favorite oil
1 cup molasses
1 cup oat meal flakes
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
Walnuts if desired


Mix all the ingredients. Spread a thin layer on a cookie sheet. Cook at 325F for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overcook. Cut into squares.
