Masala Cookies

Courtesy of Puneet Aggarwal Sonzy Here is my healthy cookie. I am an Indian so it's an Indian recipe.


1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine [I'd use butter]
2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
3/4 tsp Baking powder
Total of 3 tsp of the following:
Hot peppers chopped
Curry leaves chopped
Ginger grated
Cilantro chopped,
Mint chopped
2-3 tsp yogurt


Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Cut the fat/margarine/butter in the flour with sugar. Do not knead. It must be breadcrumb consistency.

Mix the chopped peppers, curry leaves, ginger, cilantro, mint. Add yogurt and mix

Roll the dough 1/8 thickness and cut to desired shapes Place on a baking sheet 2 apart and bake at 350 degree F for 15 minutes or till done.
